The Contour Body Mapping® System is an essential part of our fitting process and sets us apart from other sport wheelchair manufacturers. This is a one of a kind technology developed by our team of engineers, with the notion that no two bodies are the same.
A correctly fitting chair will MAXIMISE performance. With the CBM® System, individuals can experience an infinite range of adjustments, experiencing a truly custom fit. Using the measurements from the machine, our engineers use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to help the individual visualise the finished chair.
We also use the 3D CAD system to create accurate drawings and run non destructive tests for fatigue and stress. Pressure mapping is available to assess seating requirements to help alleviate the need for expensive cushions.
The difference in an RMA Sport Made to Measure wheelchair is the FIT. A second fitting is included, allowing the individual an opportunity to try the fit and make any minor adjustments before the build is complete. After all, a truly tailored fit requires customer input.

THE FIRST FIT
The Contour Body Mapping® device/system replaces the tape measure, eliminating human error and incorrect recording and interpretation. The Contour Body Mapping System® can accurately measure in real-time for the optimal fit. Our specialists will stay with you during the hole process and try to get a better understanding of how the chair can benefit your every need.
THE SECOND FIT
Our unique service offers our customers the opportunity to try out their wheelchair before it has been completed. After the first fitting session, the chair is presented in a “tacked” stage/format which makes it possible for you to try out your chair and make any minor adjustments before the chair is complete.
GOING THE EXTRA MILE
We use the very latest technology that includes Contour Body Mapping®, CAD design, Pressure Mapping, Laser Alignment, Tig Welding and CNC machinery. A standard build, from conception to completion takes between an impressive 6 to 8 weeks to deliver to the customer.
